I see a lot of door handles made out of rebar tie wire in the rural portions of the state

I accompanied my only neighbor to a bunch of his friends’ homes one day to meet all of the people he frequently visits, and I noticed something interesting about their homes.

I was sick of living in the city for most of my life and decided I would move to the countryside as soon as my apartment lease expired. In the meantime, I took note of all the places offering rentals, whether they were apartments again or small houses like duplexes. Luckily, I found a great two bedroom house with a single bathroom that was roughly the same price as my old city apartment. It was a surprise after so much time was spent looking on the market for an appropriate rental only to be left with places that weren’t in good living condition. It’s hard when you look for housing and you keep coming up short with options. I talked to a lot of landlords that weren’t the best people either. While I was inevitably happy to move out of the city as I work from home and don’t have to worry about being close to my place of employment, I missed being around other people. You have to go out of your way to make friends out in the country. I accompanied my only neighbor to a bunch of his friends’ homes one day to meet all of the people he frequently visits, and I noticed something interesting about their homes. They all had door handles that were made out of stainless steel rebar. I finally asked my neighbor about it and he said that they’re made by a blacksmith and ironworker on the other side of town that artistically shapes and bends various kinds of rebar into both decorative and practical items. The door handles happen to be his most commercially popular product and he sells them at a local arts and crafts fair.
